Takegawa Scut kit 106cc R stage +D head The major feature of this product is that it enlarges the engine displacement to as large as 106 cc from 88 cc, the currently largest displacement. The installation of this Kit does not require the change of crankshaft or the work of crankcase boring, enabling easy and low-cost work and installation. The cylinder is designed to be skirt-less (patent applied for), and the piston skirt is designed to be short so the piston, even if it isΦ57, can be housed within the cylinder without the piston interfering with the crankcase even at the bottom dead center position, and, thus, 106cc displacement has been realized (patent applied for) We have designed the piston to have a bigger diameter ofΦ57, and have applied molybdenum coating to the rubbing surface in order to better the contact with piston and cylinder at the initial stage. We have developed the cylinder of aluminum all over, plated with ceramic, (M5 sensor-type thermometer can be installed) which excels in durability, airtightness, and heat release, accomplishing the incompatible functions of high power and durability at the same time. "R-stage +D head " incorporating a decompression function with Intake valve 26mm, Exhaust valve 22.5mm, Valve stem dianeter 4.5mm, R-stage +D exclusive port shape and Titanium valve retainer. We carry 3-type of optional camshaft. (R 10, R15, R 20) With Takegawa made muffler and carburetor for R-stage, 100% potential can be acheived. ※For installation, optional Super oil pump kit, Dai-hard α cam chain, Special orDRY clutch kit, carburetor kit and muffler are required.
